With Sunburst you can scan any folder in seconds and see a Daisywheel or Cascade style view of the files, a list view of the files, and a duplicates listing of the files all within one integrated side by side window. Simply select folders or "parent folders" to traverse your file system, drag and drop files to delete, open/preview, or see them in their containing folders.

Color Coding

Sunburst can color-code your files so you can visually see where things are; it knows common file types such as office files, software development files, different media (movie, pictures, etc), and so on.

Duplicates Detection

Sunburst detects duplicates instantly and can point out what is a duplicate and what is a duplicate-like file. For example, a listing for a movie file, "Horror of 2020.mpg", may say 2= 2≠ which means it found four other files that look like the same movie but two match it and two have different content. It brings focus to what you are looking at, not a sea of unrelated duplicates.

Focus Features

Sunburst lets you focus in and see what matters to you. If you've selected a hundred files to be deleted, you can list them. If you're interested in the four other copies of the movie file, you can list them as well. Focus in and back out.

Security

Unlike downloaded apps which have unlimited access to your hardware, AmSo Sunburst is installed and works within the MacOS sandbox giving you full permissions control. It also minimizes use of third party libraries, significantly reducing chance of misbehavior by a buggy external library.
